What we collect, and why

Short version: we store the minimum needed to run the service, we never sell it, and you can ask for it to be deleted. Last updated: September 2026.

Your account

We store your email address, an optional name, and a hash of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, and profile picture from Google. We use this only to authenticate you and personalize your dashboard.

Your text

The text you submit is sent to the rewrite engine you selected (for example DeepSeek) so it can produce the rewrite. We do not train our own models on your text. Your inputs and rewritten outputs are stored in your account as rewrite history, so you can reopen, rescan, and export them. Delete your account and this history goes with it.

Detection scores

Every rewrite and manual scan stores a score, its source (input or output), and the provider that produced it. This powers your score trend graph. If a verified detector such as Originality, GPTZero, or Sapling is configured by the site operator, your scanned text is also sent to that provider under its own privacy policy.

Payments

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Safepay. We receive a payment reference, the plan you bought, and its expiry date. We never see or store your card number.

Cookies and logs

One session cookie keeps you signed in. Standard server logs record IP address and request timestamps for security and abuse prevention, and are rotated after 30 days.

Your choices

To export or delete your account and all stored rewrites and scans, contact us from the email address on your account and we will process the request within 30 days. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers, because there are no advertisers.
